Disney recently released some new character posters for Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever that show them up close. The posters featured a number of well-known characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Letitia Wright’s Suri and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda. In the poster, Suri crossed her arms in the recognizable Wakanda Forever greeting with a fierce expression on her face.
Meanwhile, Ramonda changed into a dark red garment and touched something to the bottom of her neck, her head bowed in contemplation. Winston Duke’s M’Baku, Lupita Nyong’o’s Nakia and Martin Freeman’s Everett K. Ross also appeared on the posters. One of the most exciting new cast members to receive a poster was Dominique Thorne, who will play Ironheart in the upcoming film.
For the inexperienced, Ironheart is a superhero who serves as the successor to Tony Stark’s Ironman. He wore huge glasses and seemed to have some machinery locked up around his torso. Additionally, the posters featured the villainous Namor (Tenoch Huerta), an underwater king who acts as both a villain and an antihero in the comics. Namora, Namor’s cousin, appeared in another photo, a breathing mask over her vibrant blue face.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever centers on “The nation of Wakanda faces off against intervening world powers as they mourn the loss of their king T’Challa,” according to the film’s IMDb page. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the film and had to include a plot that would end T’Challa’s story because actor Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away in 2020.
The actor, who was 43 years old, died of colon cancer. He never told the public that he was sick, but rather he behaved as if he did not have the disease. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released on November 11. Just a few days ago, Disney also unveiled the trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
