Renee Paquette officially signs with AEW

Renee Paquette is officially a member of the AEW broadcast team! Company President Tony Khan confirmed the news on social media on Wednesday, October 12.


Welcome to the team!Khan tweeted, shortly before that week’s edition of Dynamite aired.

After eight years with WWE, Renee parted ways with the company in 2020. She announced her departure at SummerSlam in August of that year and revealed that the event would be her last appearance with the company.

As we previously reported, following her departure from WWE, Renee hinted that her no-compete clause would last for a full year. Despite not being able to immediately return to the broadcast, Renee made the most of his time. After leaving WWE, she launched a new podcast called Oral Sessions (later renamed The Sessions), published a cookbook and became a first-time mother to her husband, AEW star Jon Moxley.

I never want to part with professional wrestling.” Paquette said during an interview with WrestlingINC last August. “I know that’s where my fan base comes from; I know that it will essentially always be my bread and butter, and I love that. I love pro wrestling so I’m not looking to walk away from it by any stretch.

The following month, Renee mentioned the possibility of joining AEW to The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast host Nick Hausman. “AEW is growing, as their broadcasts grow, as they add new shows, I think there’s definitely a role.,” she said.

Details of Paquette’s role in AEW have yet to be revealed, but there is no doubt that he will be an asset to the company.
