Rapper PnB Rock was recently killed in a robbery and shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles on Monday. PnB Rock, whose real name was Rakim Allen, was best known for his 2016 song ‘Selfish.’ The shooting took place at the famed Main Street and Manchester Avenue restaurant around 1:00 p.m., according to ET. The rapper was eating at Roscoe’s with his girlfriend before the attack, as he revealed through his social media post.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Times reports, Los Angeles Police Capt. Kelly Muniz said the assailant brandished a firearm after entering Roscoe’s and demanded PnB Rock jewelry. “She shot the victim and ran out the side door into a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” Muniz said as ET Pet. After the shooting, PnB Rock was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before 2:00 p.m.
For the inexperienced, Rakim Hasheem Allen was an American rapper and singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was best known for his single Selfish (2016), which peaked at number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He also provided uncredited vocals on XXXTentacion’s hit single.
