Internal reaction to early WrestleMania 39 ticket sales revealed [Report]

wrestling The 39th is still almost eight months away, but WWE has had no trouble selling tickets for the two-day event.

Next year, “The Show of Shows” will take place inside SoFi Stadium (home of the NFL’s Rams and Los Angeles Chargers) in Inglewood, California on the weekend of April 1-2. This will be the fourth consecutive WrestleMania event to follow a two-day format that began at WrestleMania 36. SoFi Stadium hosted Super Bowl 56 between the Rams and Cincinnati Bengals, with LA winning 23-20.

Citing multiple sources, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that “WWE is ecstatic with the first ticket sales for Wrestlemania 39 in Los Angeles, especially for Night Two.” WWE subsequently announced Tuesday that it sold more than 90,000 tickets for WrestleMania 39 weekend “within the first 24 hours.”

Rumored WrestleMania 39 matches

Plans can always change, of course. But various reports have indicated that WWE is planning to put on a dream match between WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Rock. The latter has expressed interest in facing Reigns, but his busy career as an actor and his work in the XFL (relaunching in 2023) could prevent the match from taking place next year.

It’s also been reported that Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey will reignite their feud at The Showcase of Immortals next year. The two stars and Charlotte Flair headlined WrestleMania 35 three years ago, with Lynch emerging victorious to become the new Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion.
