Inside the ring, his powerful style is combined with speed, and that helps him work alongside a large number of fighters. However, while there are many wrestlers that he has had great chemistry with, there are also some wrestlers that he did not partner well with as they struggled for results.

10/10 Best: Mark Henry

Mark Henry is an icon of the professional wrestling business, and his dominance in the ring has always been clear due to the powerful style he brought to the table. Putting him with Big E meant he doubled down, with both men bringing the full force to the ring.

Their style was fun to watch inside the ring, and while there wasn’t a ton of pace, they were able to bring a mouth-smashing style with the power. The duo also had a lot of success together during their times competing together on Raw.

9/10 The worst: RVD

RVD is another legend Big E was thrown with a couple of times, competing in random matches on TV early in Big E’s run on the main roster following his breakup with AJ Lee. They enjoyed mixed success, but did not prove to be a true unit.

Fans wouldn’t associate them with each other, which is never a good sign for a team unit, and they generally proved to be a forgettable partnership that fans won’t be calling out anytime soon.

8/10 Best: CM Punk

Big E and CM Punk are not two wrestlers that many wrestling fans tend to put together, however, they did have the opportunity to team up multiple times throughout their careers. They normally worked together on Monday Night Raw and proved to be good partners.

They were able to get wins together during that time, and that was a huge moment for Big E, who was just beginning to enter the main roster world as a single star in a babyface capacity at the time.

7/10 Worst: John Cena

John Cena is a seemingly ideal tag team partner for most people given that he’s one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but that doesn’t mean he’ll connect with everyone. He and Big E are legitimate friends in real life due to his love of weightlifting, but they weren’t very successful together.

They often got beat up when working together, which is surprising considering the fact that Cena is involved, as he is a man who has rarely been beaten throughout his entire WWE career.

6/10 Best: Drew McIntyre

These two men may have battled each other for the WWE Championship at Crown Jewel in 2021, but that didn’t stop them from being a great team as well. When WWE put them together as a unit, they were both operating as main event stars, and that’s why they were booked so heavily.

The duo won the vast majority of their matches together, dominating everyone in their path on Monday Night Raw as they proved to be a fantastic unit. They are two great hitters, but that translated perfectly inside the ring, and the fans loved them together.

5/10 The worst: Carmella

Big E and Carmella worked together for a unique tag team match as part of the Mixed Match Challenge tournament, but despite their qualities, they were unable to win that match. They competed against Asuka and The Miz, but were unsuccessful on the night.

Even though they promised to look exactly alike with a fantastic entrance, that chemistry couldn’t translate to the ring, proving they weren’t a perfect match.

4/10 Best: Shinsuke Nakamura

Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura teamed up several times when they were together on SmackDown, and found a lot of success in that period. They were never a genuine tag team that WWE committed to, but they were certainly likeable and popular with the WWE Universe.

Combining Big E’s powerful style along with Nakamura’s amazing ability led to some interesting matches as they both brought something different to the ring, which is always what people want from a tag team.

3/10 Worst: AJ Lee

When Big E was first included on the main roster, he was featured alongside AJ Lee. Originally, Big E was introduced as a bodyguard to the former Divas Champion, and that led to them having a few opportunities to team up in mixed matches.

While Lee was one of the biggest stars in the company at the time, it did not translate to success in the ring, as their partnership was one that led to a lack of wins. They were defeated at SummerSlam 2013, which was a huge match for them, proving that they did not function as a unit in the ring.

2/10 The best: New day

It’s impossible to split Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, as the two have been paired with the Big E countless times, either in six-man tags or as duos. The New Day is one of the greatest units of all time, and they are currently the longest serving tag team champions in company history.

But it’s not just the incredible accomplishments they’ve had in terms of titles, the trio just have incredible chemistry with everything they do, whether it’s promotions or in-ring work. They are a Hall of Fame act, and there is no doubt that Kingston and Woods are their best partners of all time.

1/10 Worst: Dolph Ziggler

On paper, Dolph Ziggler and Big E seem like great teammates due to the in-ring qualities they both have and the charisma they bring to the ring. However, that’s not something that translated to their in-ring performances when they teamed up in 2013.

They had a great opportunity at WrestleMania 29 to compete for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but they fell short against Team Hell No. That wasn’t the only time it happened, as this duo lost more than they won.
