Ben Affleck’s latest film, Air, the release date has been revealed! The actor is set to direct and star in the upcoming movie. Air builds on the birth of the Air Jordan brand and the partnership between Nike and rookie Michael Jordan. The film has set a worldwide theatrical release date of April 5. Following its world premiere, the Ben Affleck-directed film will premiere on Prime Video.

The film will mark Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s first behind-the-camera project, in collaboration with Amazon Studios, Skydance Sports and Mandalay Pictures. The cast of Air Ensemble includes Matt Damon as Nike executive Sonny Vaccaro, Ben Affleck as Nike co-founder Phil Knight, Jason Bateman as Rob Strasser, Chris Messina as David Falk, Matthew Maher as Peter Moore, and Marlon Wayans as George Raveling.

The all-star cast also includes Chris Tucker as Howard White, Viola Davis as Deloris Jordan, Gustaf Skarsgård as Horst Dassler, and Julius Tennon as James Jordan. Written by Alex Convery, ‘Air’ is produced by David Ellison, Jesse Sisgold, Jon Weinbach, Affleck, Damon, Madison Ainley, Jeff Robinov, Peter Guber and Jason Michael Berman. Executive producers include Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Kevin Halloran, Michael Joe, Drew Vinton, John Graham, Peter E. Strauss, and Jordan Moldo.

Not too long ago, Ben Affleck released a statement showing his excitement about working with Damon and the rest of the team. The Batman star began his statement: “Matt and I are very excited for the public to see ‘Air’ and proud that it is the first release from Artists Equity.” Affleck added in a statement: “The film was an extraordinary experience in which we were honored to work with some of the best actors and crew in the industry, who brought passion, persistence and creativity to a collective effort to recreate an extraordinary and a aspirational story.
