Shortly after the release of season 2 in October 2020, the hit Star Wars series The Mandalorian was renewed. Since then, fans are looking forward to the new season. The plot of the Mandalorian season 3
Taking place in the time between the end of the original trilogy and The Force Awakens, the show’s first season received acclaim from critics. The Star Wars series follows a lone bounty hunter who goes on the run to protect the Force-sensitive boy Grogu. Meanwhile, the official plot synopsis for The Mandalorian season 3 reads: “The Mandalorian’s journeys through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu.”
The synopsis continues: “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to turn the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and create new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
The cast of the Mandalorian season 3
Pedro Pascal plays the main character, the Mandalorian. Alongside Pascal, several cast members including Katee Sackhoff, Amy Sedaris, Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi and Emily Swallow are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming season. Back to the Future actor Christopher Lloyd will be a guest star in season 3.
The Mandalorian season 3 release date
The Mandalorian is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
